Thanks for creating this video! I recently pulled the motor and clutch out of my ezgo and rebuilt it! I pinched a prong and had to pull it again.. your technique worked flawlessly both times!

I have a V-6 crankshaft in the bottom of a Nissan 3.3L VG33E long block, from my 1998 Pathfinder, 166,000 miles. Very clean and owned by an elderly couple since new. Oil pan is off. Block is sitting on its top in a tire giving me access to crank. It is a spare motor. It was having rod and/or main bearing knock. I found shavings in oil and filter. It had been oil starved from previous owner, due to a leak they didn't notice. First I had moonlighting mechanic try to refresh bearings. Nothing changed. I'm not sure he did it well. I had it pulled out and replaced with used motor. I want to restore the crank, flush motor with cheap vegetable oil and then diesel and put it back in. Any suggestions? My first time doing any motor block repair. Thanks!

Old mechanics trick also you can use white bread. Smoosh the bread white into the hole , its less messy. Thats how i change pilot bushings when doing clutchss on cars...

Not bad work making it from scratch! I would have liked to have seen (heard) the finished product though.

My enclosure came about a week ago and I had NO IDEA it's "windows" would be so scrunched up 'cause they sure weren't in all the pictures of enclosures I looked at before I bought. So just ordered a heat gun from Amazon after viewing your video, which is the only one addressing golf cart enclosures that I could find, so THANK YOU so much for taking the time to make and post it.

2 days ago I bought one at harbor freight for 100 dollars it was on clearance sale now I'm looking for a good use drill press I'm sure with the 2 of them I can make few minor things as I don't have almost 8k for a smithy 3in1 machine

Thanks for creating this video. I had to pull the clutch while mounted to the machine. I used grease and that worked. I had to run the bolt in, pull it out, add some more grease and then tighten it. I had a strap wrench for an oil filter to hold the clutch. It didn't come easy, but I got it as tight as I could get and then tapped it with a rubber mallet to get it to pop off the taper.

i couldnt find a fine thread 3/4 bolt so i bought a 3/4 shank hitch ball, its fine thread and had flat spots at base of the ball for a big crescent wrench. threads were 2” long so no problem there. still cheaper than the special tool bolt
